Awesome Review, Rick!
I give The Doll Factory an A+!
It's easy enough to be pleasant,
when life hums along like a song. But the man worth while is the man who can smile when everything goes dead wrong. |

Yes, I may be biased.......but that maze ROCKED this year! Huge applause for all the talent!

Best maze since The Asylum? Yes.
Great talent, particularly The Doll? Yes (in fact, she should get a share of the Haunt profits, she was that distinctive). Cool theme and does it tell a story through the maze? Yes. But I still don't think it ranks among the VERY BEST Haunt mazes. |

My main complaint about this review is the photographs. There is a lot of talent in this maze and it seemed like only a scant few are seen in the images. I
would gladly trade a few pics of the facade or the painted dolls for some of the great talent (that already spent a month in someone else's shadow).
Just my one of my many opinions... |

Yeah its hard to critizise perfection. I'll be the first person to say there is always room for improvment but I really wouldn't know where to begin on
improving this maze. I just hope this year it doesn't suffer the same fate as The Grudge 2 but I serioulsy doubt it will. Although in the land of Haunt
mazes in my opinion debut years are tough to top! Thats not to say though that it couldn't be done. Especially if Jill returns

I think Rick did a very nice job with his DF review. Having some pictures of the facade is not a bad thing. He even said it was the first moving facade in
Haunt history, so posting pics of it seems right. There was a good mix of talent pictures in there, but you must have a brilliant design ( walls, props, etc.)
to make a maze stand out. And all of the people in the doll factory do not think of us as living in someone's shadow. We all love "that girl" to
death, and she and us all understood that we were all important parts in the maze. To us, none of us every stood out better than anyone else.

Thanks for the awesome review Rick! As far as not being as good this upcoming year, I have confidence that we will be just as good. Unless people change their
mind last minute (which does happen sometimes) almost everyone in the Factory will be returning this year. We all worked really hard and now consider The
Factory our home. Also i know that a lot of us feel a very personal connection with our characters being the first people to play them and all. Naturally there
will be new mazes that will be all the more amazing and we probably wont be #1 again but that happens every year. Rest assured however that we will BRING IT
this year just as much and even more then last year! On a side note to Lu: I generally dont like the idea of selling my dolls, they are a part of my personal
collection for my own enjoyment. A LOT of hard work goes into making just one. However for you, I might consider it. You wont be able to get one untill October
though. Im working on several new Dolls for this year and am very uptight about nobody seeing them untill the veil drops. Im sure you can understand.

What a freaking amazing maze. After nearly 6 months I still am in shock as to just how good this maze was. I had no expectations going in, and it just
completely took my breath away. And yes, that girl was the icing on the cake, but it was still an awesome cake even if she wouldn't have been there. The
review was dead on, everything about this maze from the construction to the paint to the soundtrack and most espicially to the talent was perfect. As for a
backstory, I'm all for it but I do like a little bit left to the imagination. I liked walking through and wondering just what the heck was going on with
the frozen body parts stuck to the wall, or the dolls on an assembly line, or the giant hanging bodies in trash bags. The only thing I thought was kind of lame
were the giant stuffed animals, they're just not ever going to be scary no matter how much I don't see it coming when they jump out of their boxes. Why
not mutilate them and make them scary? It wouldn't take much, poke out an eye, burn part of the fur off, same kind of stuff they did to the dolls. But
that's one minor nitpick, overall the Doll Factory is right up there for me tied with Dead Man's Wharf and Asylum as my favorite mazes of all time.
Phenomonal job everyone, and great review Rick!!!
I hear, I forget. I see, I remember. I do, I understand... |

Just looking at the photos I noticed how many details I missed when I walked through. Very well done!
