When you work in a maze and chose which maze you want to be in do they let you pick who you want to be? or do they just give you a costume?

TPA NOT PARTICIPATING IN AHAB 2009

As AHAB approaches, I feel that it is necessary to make it very clear that Theme Park Adventure is not participating in or attending this year's event.

Many people have asked us about our videos and have been upset and surprised to learn that TPA is not participating; the assumption comes from the event organizers touting video presentations by various online fan sites, etc. It also comes from the fact that Theme Park Adventure HAS been very closely associated with AHAB for many...

Theme Park Adventure and The Season Pass podcast have joined forces. Kicking off The Season Pass' 101 episode (their HALLOWEEN SPECIAL), I was asked to be a special guest, and we discussed everything from Halloween Haunt and Universal to home haunts and pro haunts! I want to give a shout out to the monsters on the night of October 17th for be extremely kind and offering me to take a VIP spot in front to capture photos of the CS Execution and GTS slider competition! THANK YOU! This was a great experience as I've never seen either event since I've been attending in '93. Again, thanks for allowing me to photograph these events in prime spots!

Monsters Day Job

Hello everyone

I'm new to the TPA messageboard, I'm thinking about working Haunt next year. The only problem I have is I work for an aerospace company and I start at 5 in the morning to 1:30 in the afternoon. I was wondering if there are any Haunt monsters who work early in their day jobs and and what do they do. Thanks

Most Memorable Maze Monster

This thread really is for those that have been to the HAUNT already.
List and Pick only one MOST memorable Monster from each maze but Do Not describe the scare you got so we wont spoil it for anyone that has not been to the Haunt yet.

For instance:
Slaughterhouse- the Monster with the Sledge Hammer.
Terrorof London- the Monster(s) with shovels.
etc.

I am writing this redicoulasly early, but this is for next(2010) haunt season. I am currently a high school senior and am going to irvine valley college next year. I really want to work haunt, but education needs to come first, so I was wondering how you have planned or plan college schedules. I am not much of a morning person as I stay up really late(yay insomina) but would be willing to go to school at a decent time. My main fear beign that I dont really want to plan my entire semester...

Does anyone know if Haunt was extended to Sunday, November 1? One of Knott's Tweets the other day mentioned Sunday being the last day, but I cannot find any info on that date on their website.

What are the most random props that y'all used? I used a stuffed stewie griffin doll and scaring a lot of people. I used a straw for about 10 minutes and that got a lot of scares suprisingly.

Halloween Haunt vs. Halloween Time at DLR

Maybe its just me, but Disneyland has lost some of its "magic." I still love Disneyland, but my last three or four trips there have been terrible. The place is always waaaay too crowded, understaffed and poorly organized. We have waited upwards of 45 minutes for a tram, experienced a shouting and pushing match getting on the parking lot tram, been yelled at by rude cast members and been pushed and prodded through the park.
